Semmes Library: Back to School Session

I have slowed down on photo sessions the past year, mainly because my schedule was getting overwhelmed and I had to scale back in my day to day life. But every so often I still do a session and every time I do I realize just how much I miss it!

I was excited to do this back to school session for these beautiful little girls. The morning was extremely hot but they were such good sports and were great in front of the camera. They made my job ridiculously easy and I loved the girl chatter in between shots.

Good luck girls on your new year in school! I know it’s going to be absolutely amazing for you. IMG_1124IMG_1169IMG_1298morgan22

Walker Ranch Historic Landmark Park: Family Session

Two years ago I met this sweet family and took their holiday pictures. When they asked me to take them again this year I was ecstatic! It’s always fun to see a family again and catch up on how they have been.

The kids have grown so much and their personalities are fantastic! Both of the kids kept me laughing during the session and I think their fun personalities show in their session. It was great seeing the Scott and Annie again too, and of course they were wonderful to work with. This family has a strong bond and that relationship is always awesome to see.

To Scott and Annie–thank you for trusting me again with your family pictures! I hope to work with you time and time again!

Back To School Session: Comanche Park

School is starting again soon and it is a great time to get those beginning-of-the-year photos! I had the pleasure of meeting this family at a new park (for me at least!) and taking a few pictures of their boys before the year begins. At the end I took a couple of pictures of them together because how often can you get your kids to actually still for a picture? Maybe you are better at that then me, but with three boys in my life that moment is rare!  I was glad to capture these for their parents!

Thank you for spending the very warm morning with me!

Ryan and Amber: The Pearl

You meet people in life who become instant friends and when Ryan and Amber moved to San Antonio a few months ago, that is exactly how I felt about them! This family is incredibly nice and I felt instantly connected to them. Our kids have all become friends as well and I’ve enjoyed getting to know them!

Ryan and Amber haven’t had a photo session of just the two of them since their engagement. I was looking forward to doing a couples sessionIMG_2283IMG_2300bwIMG_2357IMG_2368IMG_2435 that let them just focus on themselves. As a mom with kids, I know how rare that time can be.

These two have been married nine years and have three kids and through their session it was easy to see that these two still were very much in love!

Ryan and Amber–here’s a sneak peek of your session. I had a blast working with y’all and I know we’re going to stay great friends!

Birthday Session:Brackenridge Park

I did a summer giveaway a few weeks ago and Deena was the lucky winner of a mini-session! She wanted to use the session to get birthday pictures of her little girl. I knew Brackenridge Park would be the perfect place for that session.

One of my favorite parts of a session is walking around the area, getting to know the client, and stopping at fun locations to snap a few shots. This session was no exception–Deena was incredibly sweet and her little girl was animated and so much fun!

I was happy to get a few pictures celebrating this little girl’s first year and I enjoyed including Deena into a few photos for some special mommy-daughter moments.

I wish this beautiful family the best as they go into the future and I hope I get to work with them again soon!
